PERSONAL BIO

Holding the degrees of Educational Sciences and French as a Second Language, Laurent Vergain has devoted his life to the promotion of the French language and culture for around four decades. He has been the Director of Alliance Française in Haiti, Madagascar and Japan, and served as the Director of the French Cultural Center in Bandung, Indonesia. Laurent Vergain is also a French language teacher and has given lessons in numerous schools. 

Currently, Laurent Vergain is the Director of Alliance Française de Taïwan promoting French culture and language in Taiwan. Besides administrative and financial management, he provides pedagogical direction in French training programs and exams development, and cultural cooperation projects related to education centers.
