On Wednesday, March.23rd National Taiwan University held a press conference and letter of intent signing ceremony to officially launch the NTU International Mentorship Program. In his speech, NTU President Dr Chung-Ming Kuan thanked the many partner alliances, including chambers of commerce and government organizations participating in the program, for making the first international mentorship program a reality. Under the program, selected students will obtain relevant work experience and acquire skills with the assistance of a mentor at the company or institution at which they sign up.
NTU OIA is proud to have hosted more than 100 representatives from 70 institutions, including international chambers of commerce, government organizations, start-ups, local industries, foreign companies, non -governmental organizations, and academic research institutions. Dr Chung-Ming Kuan shared his sincere appreciation for these renowned organizations that have allowed NTU to fulfil its responsibility of international talent cultivation. This year's edition will include over 170 apprenticeship opportunities during the summer break in world-known companies such as TSMC, and Porsche, to name a few.
