陳峰志 Fong Zhi CHEN

Dr. Fong Zhi Chen serves as Senior Executive Assistant to the General Manager at Gallant Micro Machining Co., Ltd. (GMM) in Taiwan. He holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD from National Cheng Kung University. Dr. Chen began his career at the Precision Instrument Development Center (PIDC) and held senior research and leadership positions through its organizational transitions to NCIR under the National Institute of Applied Research (NIAR). With extensive experience in vacuum technology, optomechatronics, and precision instrument development, he has contributed to advancing precision design and manufacturing capabilities.

Dr. Chen is actively involved in professional organizations, including IEEE IMS(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Instrumentation and Measurement Society), the Chinese Metrology Society, the Taiwan Vacuum Society, the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, and the Taiwan Nanotechnology and MicroSystem Association. After retiring from NIAR in November 2025, he joined GMM, where he continues to support semiconductor equipment R&D, industry-academia collaboration, and talent development. His expertise contributes to GMM’s continued innovation in advanced packaging equipment, including chip sorters and chip bonders.
