PERSONAL BIO

Ethan Wang currently serves as Director & General Manager of IOG WIND Taiwan Co., Ltd., and Chief Operating Officer of IOVTEC Co., Ltd. He holds a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in System and Naval Mechatronic Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.

Early in his career, he worked as Manager at Maersk Broker Asia, gaining extensive experience in international ship leasing and shipping. Since 2018, Ethan has been dedicated to the renewable energy and offshore wind power industry, focusing on promoting domestic industrial development and international technical collaboration, helping Taiwan establish a complete offshore wind power supply chain.

He values strategic thinking and teamwork, excelling in cross-disciplinary project integration, while actively fostering talent development and industry innovation. Ethan believes that sustainable energy is a cornerstone for Taiwan’s future, and continues to lead his team with practical experience and international vision, driving long-term growth in offshore wind power and green energy.

Brief Introduction of the Department

【Project Department】

The Project Department oversees all the projects scope in IOG, ensuring they comply with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements from start to delivery. Key responsibilities include financial management, contract oversight, resource planning, scheduling, and client relations. The department ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and with high quality, meeting both company and client expectations.

Internship Job Description

- Assist the Project Manager (PM) in project progress control and payment tracking.
- Support communication with suppliers and clients, and handle related administrative tasks.
- Assist in organizing and archiving project-related documents and managing records.
- Help optimize the project lifecycle within the current PM team.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- Undergraduate students (third year and above)
- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Proficiency in English, both writting and speaking
- Reading and speaking of Mandarin are preferred skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Cross culture awareness and good communication skills on different levels within the company
- Open-minded and learn actively
