Eden Lien is the current Deputy Director of the Talent Taiwan Office, an initiative started by the National Development Council in 2020. Lien manages the Gold Card/Talent Taiwan Program and has been a crucial part of the Office since its inception. Lien has many responsibilities, which include international marketing, customer service, and communication between government offices.
Lien and the Talent Taiwan Office team are devoted to attracting foreign talents to Taiwan, nurturing young talents in key industries, and working closely with various government ministries to make Taiwan the ideal destination for global talent.
Lien has over ten years of experience in the media industry, taking on diverse positions such as Marketing Manager, Chief Editor, and Project Manager. She is also a professional writer, with a specific passion for popular science writing, editing, and reporting.

Internship Job Description
- Understand and help with the Gold Card/Talent Taiwan Office helpdesk operations and workflow
- Utilizing your background and personal experiences, help create, plan, and execute marketing campaigns to attract foreign talents to come and live in Taiwan
- Gather and organize the information on immigration, talent recruitment policies and programs from different countries
