Kaili is the founder and Director of GOH-Migrants, a migrant-focused division of the Garden of Hope Foundation, one of Taiwan’s largest NGOs. What began as a small shelter on the brink of closure has, under her leadership, grown into a dynamic, multi-service center staffed by 23 full-time and 15 part-time professionals from seven countries, collectively speaking 17 languages.

With more than a decade of experience in the NGO sector, Kaili began her career in anti-trafficking victim assistance and policy advocacy, providing training and technical support to law enforcement, government agencies, and civil society across Taiwan. Known for her clear communication and collaborative approach, she has built strong networks across public, private, and international stakeholders.

Kaili combines cross-cultural competence, agile management, and a strong commitment to social impact. She leads teams conducting research, advancing public dialogue, and driving social awareness campaigns on migration and labor rights. Her current work focuses on building inclusive systems for migrants—from promoting policy reforms and inclusion initiatives in long-term care and global supply chains to developing international partnerships that protect migrant rights and dignity.

She also oversees ESG-aligned programs that strengthen workplace well-being, enhance social integration, and foster responsible business practices in collaboration with leading enterprises.

Brief Introduction of the Department

【GOH-Migrants】

The Garden of Hope Foundation believes that the need for care knows no borders. Since 2009, the Garden of Hope Foundation has been dedicating into working with migrant workers, initially through the operation of 1955 Labor Consultation and Complaint Service Hotline. Since 2011, the Garden of Hope Foundation has opened several shelters for women migrant workers, providing interrogation escort services for human trafficking victims, implemented community innovation projects, and policy research and advocacy.

In 2020, GOH-Migrants was established and has expanded services to migration populations with multiple backgrounds. With the mission of “diversity and inclusion” as well as “culture equity”, GOH-Migrants dedicates to create platform of resources and initiate empowerment programs for migrant workers and international students, in promoting sustainable communities.

GOH-Migrants cares about the rights of migrant workers in Taiwan. Each year, GOH-Migrants frames a topic centering on migrant workers for developing practical research and policy advocacy. GOH-Migrants has been upholding “Service-Empowerment-Advocacy”, providing one-stop services for short-term migrants in Taiwan, to promote the society with diversity, human rights and gender equality.

Internship Job Description

We are seeking passionate and innovative "Social Impact Development Interns" to join our team! This internship opportunity will allow you to participate in and support the advancement of our key projects, particularly in project promotion and outreach, including initiatives focused on promoting the mental health of migrants. You will assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the implementation of quality improvement measures and the development of new programs. You will have the chance to make a positive impact on the Taiwan community. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, who are eager to engage in social impact projects and gain valuable hands-on experience and professional growth during the internship.

- Interested in transnational migration and the rights of foreigners in Taiwan
- Growth Mindset & Can-Do Attitude
