【GOH-Migrants】
The Garden of Hope Foundation believes that the need for care knows no borders. Since 2009, the Garden of Hope Foundation has been dedicating into working with migrant workers, initially through the operation of 1955 Labor Consultation and Complaint Service Hotline. Since 2011, the Garden of Hope Foundation has opened several shelters for women migrant workers, providing interrogation escort services for human trafficking victims, implemented community innovation projects, and policy research and advocacy.
In 2020, GOH-Migrants was established and has expanded services to migration populations with multiple backgrounds. With the mission of “diversity and inclusion” as well as “culture equity”, GOH-Migrants dedicates to create platform of resources and initiate empowerment programs for migrant workers and international students, in promoting sustainable communities.
GOH-Migrants cares about the rights of migrant workers in Taiwan. Each year, GOH-Migrants frames a topic centering on migrant workers for developing practical research and policy advocacy. GOH-Migrants has been upholding “Service-Empowerment-Advocacy”, providing one-stop services for short-term migrants in Taiwan, to promote the society with diversity, human rights and gender equality.
