PERSONAL BIO

Mr. Lin graduated from the Institute of Telecommunication Engineering at Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Mr. Lin joined Chunghwa Telecom in 1984 and was part of the Public Data Communication Department within the Data Communications Business Group until 2005. Since then, he has been based at the Corporate Planning Department of Chunghwa Telecom headquarters, where his primary responsibility involves providing technical guidance for corporate business strategies and policies.

By 2017, Mr. Lin assumed the role of Managing Director in the Cloud System Department, overseeing the Internet Data Center (IDC) and cloud services. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the Information Technology Group.

【BSS Development Department】

Our department has a team with many important capabilities, dedicated to recommending products and using AI modeling to predict the list of interested customers for promotion. Our members have taken AI-related courses and have the ability to develop AI artificial intelligence, including development using tools such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Keras. In addition, they are familiar with development languages, including Java, SQL, and Python. This gives our team the flexibility to develop and optimize software applications. Our members also have application development technical capabilities in public cloud environments, including platforms such as GCP, Azure and AWS. They can apply these technologies to develop and deploy applications to fulfill customer needs. In addition, our members also have experience in cloud messaging APIs and push notifications, as well as RESTful API connection. This allows us to implement instant messaging and push functionality and integrate seamlessly with other systems. At present, our department mainly focuses on the fields of commercial product recommendation, corporate customer industry segmentation, precision marketing, AIGC+ marketing techniques, and external data import. We continue to strive to provide innovative and efficient solutions to meet our customers' needs and achieve their goals.

Internship Job Description

Interns will have the opportunity to participate in important tasks such as commercial product recommendation, corporate and customer industry recommendation, precision marketing, AIGC+ marketing techniques, and external data import. Interns may need to participate in the establishment and optimization of AI models, assist in analyzing enterprise needs and characteristics, and provide solutions that are in line with industry characteristics. In addition, interns may need to use AIGC+ marketing techniques to improve marketing effects, and import external data for analysis and optimization of prediction models. Through these work contents, interns will have the opportunity to learn and apply AI technology to solve practical problems, and continuously improve their abilities and professional knowledge through teamwork.

Our product portfolio spans across smart grids, energy management, solar energy, water resources, and data center energy conservation. The iEN Environmental Service is a comprehensive environmental monitoring solution that enables real-time monitoring and efficient management of various devices such as electricity usage, air conditioning, and lighting.

The iEN Solar Photovoltaic Platform, another offering from our Smart Energy Department, is dedicated to the solar energy sector. It provides advanced management tools, allowing users to understand the efficiency and status of solar photovoltaic stations. Through our system, customers can seamlessly transmit real-time power generation information to Taiwan Power Company's DREAMS system.
Additionally, we provide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Smart Meters solutions, enabling intelligent monitoring of electricity usage. Engage in various Internet of Things (IoT) solutions within the smart energy sector, gaining insights into the construction and application of IoT platforms, including:

- Implementation of iEN Environmental Service: Participate in the planning and establishment of monitoring frameworks to assist in real-time tracking and management of various devices, including electricity usage, water consumption, air conditioning, and lighting, contributing to efficient on-site operations
- Deployment and Operation of iEN Solar Photovoltaic Monitoring System: Assist in maintaining the power generation efficiency and operations of solar photovoltaic stations. Contribute to the provision of DREAMS service solutions, facilitating the real-time transmission of power generation information from sites to Taiwan Power Company's DREAMS system
