Zhong has 26 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and technology deployment in Micron. His global working experience spans 20 years in Singapore, including roles at TECH Semiconductor, Intel Micron Flash Singapore, and Micron Singapore, and 3.5 years in Japan, at Micron Japan Hiroshima. Since November 2021, he has been working at Micron Taiwan.

His career at Micron has been marked by roles with increasing responsibilities from Process & Equipment Engineer, Process Integration Engineer, Real-time Defects Analysis, Product Integration Engineering Director, ATE (Alpha Technology Engineering) Director, Senior Director of Advanced Technology Japan, High volume manufacturing (Micron Hiroshima), and currently VP of Taiwan Front End Manufacturing Operations.

manufacturing process and is widely used in daily work. As an Equipment Engineer, you will be involved in equipment-related projects, including overseeing the installation, modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, as well as researching equipment performance, reliability, upgrades, and safety issues. Develop plans and solutions to increase uptime and resolve equipment issues affecting the manufacturing process, provide technical support to manufacturing equipment maintenance and process engineering organizations. - Basic equipment maintenance and planning, working closely with process and manufacturing teams to resolve equipment limitations and effectiveness improvement
- Develop systems or procedures and drive improvement activities to reduce equipment maintenance costs
- Qual test baseline improvement and test success rate increase, effectively eliminating PM faults and reducing the number of alarms
- Establish related content of SOP and OCAP documents for equipment maintenance and equipment operation failure parts replacement
