Elisa Chiu is the founder of Anchor Asia (also known as Anchor Taiwan) and Anchor Venture Partners. She transitioned from Wall Street, where she managed and traded over US$1 billion in assets across Pan Pacific Asia, to find her calling in tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

As an ecosystem builder, she hosts hundreds of events to ignite conversations, foster collaborations and enable cross-border business development. Notable examples include the signature Anchor Roundtable series with Corporate Venturing (CVC execs from 100+ leading enterprises), Women in Venture (100+ female investors), and Anchor Innovation Summit (https://anchortaiwan.com/anchor-innovation-summit/). Elisa has a unique vantage point and network in the realms of mobility, sustainability, and cross-industry opportunities.

In 2024, Elisa curated and launched Bike Venture (https://anchortaiwan.com/bikeventure/) in partnership with TAIPEI CYCLE, Asia’s leading cycling industry expo with a 35-year history and over 20,000 visitors. That same year, she also initiated and curated Weave Venture (https://anchortaiwan.com/weaveventure/) in partnership with New Taipei City, the most populous city in Taiwan, bringing together investors and industry thought leaders at the intersection of textiles, fashion, technology and investment.
