Bill CHIANG has nearly 30 years of experience in mobile network engineering and operation. He has been responsible for the deployment of 5G network and the promotion of 5G private network of Chunghwa Telecom for the past few years. He once served as the engineering supervisor of the 5G private network for the National Theater and Concert Hall and some of Taiwan’s leading companies’ 5G private network projects. He has very abundant mobile engineering and network transformation experience. Now, he administrates the promotion and development of the international ICT and smart application business.

【ICT Engineering Department】

The ICT Engineering Department assists business units in providing integrated IT and ICT information and communication technology, global IPVPNs, enterprise data centers and network planning, local host to cloud migration, enterprise backup solutions and smart solutions(including Generative AI applications) for Taiwanese and oversea enterprise customers.

Solutions, including solution design, system integration, software application service development and project management, provide complete information and communication services to overseas enterprise customers; we also work with high-quality hardware suppliers in Taiwan and combine the company's communication network and software platform technologies to develop Develop standardized smart products that can be deployed and exported overseas to develop new international revenue-driven business projects.

Internship Job Description

Learn various international network application technologies of Chunghwa Telecom, as well as new smart solution planning for overseas smart cities, medicare, and manufacturing. By participating in projects, you will learn from program design and proposal to project execution and management. The internship includes:

- Participate in the collection and analysis of the development directions of governments and industries in Southeast Asia such as smart cities, medicare, and manufacturing, collect and analyze overseas local competitors, we use generative AI to analyze development trends.
- Participate in planning the overseas sales process of products, and assist in product training and marketing activities.
- Participate in public clouds (AWS, Azure) and assist in migrating enterprise hosts to the cloud and planning software functional requirements.
- Participate in overseas project solution design planning and project execution management.
- Participate in technical planning and construction operations such as international network architecture, overseas IT network architecture, information security and backup.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- Undergraduate students (third year and above)

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Network Skills : Possess basic knowledge and skills of information and communication technology. Have basic knowledge of international circuits and ICT information and communication technology, and be familiar with network and network equipment planning would be a plus.
- IOT application and knowledge: Have background knowledge of IoT in medical, manufacturing, smart city and other fields. Work experience in related fields is preferred.
- Generative AI technology: Through generative AI data analysis capabilities and the above-mentioned solution experience, it helps enterprises optimize processes and improve decision-making effectiveness.
