PERSONAL BIO

Oliver is Co-Founder, COO and Impact Officer at Impact Hub Taipei. He is also honored to be one of the inaugural Obama Foundation Leaders: Asia-Pacific. He was formerly Co-Host at Impact Hub APAC and member of Impact Hub Global brand committee and some taskforces. Besides, he is a community person who loves to create connections for people. Thus he brings in various event and conference brands to Taiwan, such as CreativeMornings Taipei, Fuckup Nights Taipei, Glug Taiwan and GCUC Taiwan. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Education and minor in English. He was a HR and Corporate Communications intern in Medtronic, a Fortune 100 company, for nearly 3 years, before his entrepreneurial journey.

His passion is to explore new ways of collaboration and sharing for co-creating a better world. And he is passionate about how intermediates and social entrepreneurship can support entrepreneurs, enterprises and communities, building desirable benefits and outcomes, as well as amplifying impact.

Internship Job Description

The intern will assist the Community Support Team with community events, space operations management, and administrative tasks at Impact Hub Taipei / Taipei NPO Hub.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- Understanding social innovation, social entrepreneurship, CSR, SDGs, and NPO/NGO is
preferred
- More than one year of work experience in the event industry or a NPO

- Team player with excellent communication plus problem-solving skills

Global Initiatives Team is in charge of implementing international cooperation projects, sustainability campaigns and corporate sustainability communications projects which are in alignment with SDGs and our core values. Besides, delivering workshops, conducting research and creating educational contents are also part of this team’s tasks.

Internship Job Description

The intern will assist the Global Initiatives Team in collecting information on global sustainability trends, compiling and analyzing data for various topics and translating articles. He/She will also support on-site delivery and social media contents for the ongoing initiatives or campaigns.

- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Understanding social innovation, social entrepreneurship, CSR, SDGs, and NPO/NGO is preferred
