Since 1998, she has assisted in establishing the Jane Goodall Institute and has served as its Executive Director. Her main work at the institute focuses on promoting the global Roots & Shoots program, encouraging young people and educators to participate. In addition, she has also been involved in promoting collaboration with conservation and education teams from other countries.

【Roots & Shoots Program and/ or Jane Goodall Sustainability Academy】

Roots & Shoots is a global community action programme founded by Dr. Jane Goodall in 1991. The programme aims to inspire, empower and encourage young people all over the world. It shows them how to follow their passions, take action together and become the change our world needs. That way, we can all ensure a better future for people, animals and the environment. Roots & Shoots encourages youths to implement practical positive change by providing teachers and team leaders with free resources and a place to share their success stories with the world.

Internship Job Description

- Provide assistance in planning event and activities.
- Provide assistance in events/activities and programs.

- Undergraduate students
- Undergraduate students (third year and above)

- Ph.D. students
