Graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Yann has spent the past 15 years working in various international roles across North America, Europe, and APAC. He began his career with ENERCON in Canada, starting in a construction field position and gradually advancing to a senior management role.
Based in Taiwan since 2018, Yann has been responsible for overseeing projects in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Throughout his diverse career at ENERCON, Yann has developed the ability to adapt to different environments while continuously expanding his skills in leading teams, managing projects, engaging with customers, and negotiating contracts. His work requires a deep understanding of local specifications and the cultural nuances of each country and party involved.

Brief Introduction of the Department

【Construction Department】

The project management department is responsible for the construction of the Wind energy converter and the relevant structure (road, foundation, substation, Grid cable) for the APAC region, this includes Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. The Project management team is involved from the initiation phase of the project until the closure of the construction site.
The construction department is part of the Project management team. His main mission is to provide site support, site management, Quality control and construction Equipment during the foundation and the assembly of the Wind energy Converter.
As project management, our goal is to execute the construction site according to the contractual condition with a focus on HSE, Cost, scheduling and quality.

Internship Job Description

- Under the supervision of the Project Manager and the Head of Construction, the intern will be physically assigned to the construction site to oversee and report on the progress of the wind converter installation.
- The intern will be required to participate in daily construction site meetings with various stakeholders to coordinate activities, meet site targets, and mitigate potential issues.
- The intern will also need to report progress and any deviations to the Project Manager, propose mitigation plans if necessary, or contact the technical department in case of technical deviations.

- Undergraduate students (third year and above)
- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- The project is located in Changhua County, and stakeholders come from both Taiwan and various other countries. Therefore, fluency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory
- Knowledge of or interest in construction sites
- Willingness to work outdoors and in challenging environments
- Availability for business trips from Monday to Friday
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory
