Colin Giles is the CEO of the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering a business-focused community for cross-border trade between the UK and Taiwan. Leveraging his extensive background in multinational and startup businesses, Colin focuses on supporting members and cultivating a thriving network for networking, knowledge sharing, and support.

With a remarkable 20-year tenure at Nokia Mobile Phones, Colin served as President of Nokia China, overseeing a successful turnaround in the world's largest consumer market, achieving a 40% market share.

As Nokia's Head of Global Sales, he led a team of 2000 professionals, ensuring high performance across global markets. Additionally, he held key roles at Huawei and Lenovo/Motorola, where he was responsible for local team establishment, market development, and execution of sales and marketing programs. Colin's corporate experience extends to practical implementation, co-founding Xcalibyte, a China-focused software startup later acquired by Ant Financial in 2023.
