【Humanitarian Assistance Department】

Public Health and Medicine:
The TaiwanICDF has been responding to international development trends for many years and the organization leverages Taiwan’s public health development experience and the resources of domestic medical institutions to promotes projects at the policy, health facility and community levels to assist partner countries in developing better medical care environments and levels of health.

TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteers:
Since 1996, Taiwanese volunteers have served with the TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteers service, offering assistance in various countries. While the main purpose of the volunteer service is to boost socio-economic development in our partner countries, volunteers equally benefit from their overseas experience and generate friendship and goodwill between Taiwan and its allies.

International Humanitarian Assistance:
The TaiwanICDF endeavors to provide recovery and reconstruction assistance to partner countries in the aftermath of natural disasters, war or ethnic conflict, aiming to assist survivors in passing through such crises and returning to normal life as safely and quickly as possible.

Internship Job Description

The intern will assist in researching and collecting data related to public health and medicine projects, particularly in the fields of mental health. The intern will also sssist in collecting strategies and practices on international public health issues. Also, the intern will analyze methodology and propose the innovative ideas for the public health and medicine projects.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- undergraduate students (third year and above)
- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Subject in Public health, medicine, nursing, biostatistics, epidemiology, nutrition, grade 4 university student or above, preferably a master's degree student
- Proficient in spoken and written English. A good command of Mandarin is a plus for foreign student
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (at least familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Familiar with data collection and compilation, good organization, good writing skills
