Luke Hsu is a product operations manager of TÜV Rheinland and serves as a connected vehicle professional. He is a consultant for the Taiwan government to help develop on Taiwan connected vehicle certification system and also on testing and verification related to autonomous vehicle and connected vehicles.
Prior to joining TUV Rheinland, Luke was a technical manager in Askey and was responsible for V2X product roadmap, system architecture, and business model development. He designed complex system architecture including V2X, cloud and edge computing, and AI by migrating resources from different departments. He also has work experience on IoT and automotive cybersecurity product development and design. His first job was in ITRI as an engineer to develop V2X system and do research for autonomous vehicle. In 2016, he was in Italy for 8 months on an expat package to be in charge of a V2X technology transferring business project and was awarded by ITRI due to the excellent result. He participated in several global organization events, including leading teams to participate in ETSI ITS plugtests for connected vehicle, and he is now active in 5GAA and OMNIAIR for connected vehicle area.
Luke earned a PhD degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor degree in computer science from National Chengchi University.
