PERSONAL BIO

Mr. Giuseppe Izzo is Regional Vice President at STMicroelectronics’ Asia Pacific Region. He joined SGS-Thomson Microelectronics (now STMicroelectronics) in 1987 and shortly thereafter relocated to Asia, living and working in many different countries; from Korea to Taiwan, to Hong Kong and China. He has held various positions within ST’s Asia Pacific organization, covering; marketing, application development and product design for power management, consumer and computer systems, automotives, and multi-segment products.

Mr. Izzo established ST’s Automotive and Multi-Systems Competence Centers in Shanghai and Power Management Competence Center in Taiwan, contributing to the company’s success in many areas of business developments in Asia Pacific, which lead to the expansion of operations throughout Taiwan.

The Asia Public Affairs is a division responsible for managing and fostering relationships with public institutions, government Agencies, industry associations,universities and other stakeholders across Asia. The team ensures alignment between corporate objectives and regional public policies, while promoting the company’s interests and reputation in the region.

Internship Job Description

This role provides the experience in public affairs, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing reports and internal briefings
Monitor regional policy developments and compile relevant updates
Support planning and execution of events aligned with corporate goals
Contribute to stakeholder communications and engagement activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public affairs initiatives

Preferred Intern Education Level

- Undergraduate students (third year and above)
- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

The motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills, a genuine interest in public policy, and a proactive attitude.
