Gary is a second-generation entrepreneur in Taiwan’s textile industry, with more than 18 years of experience in knitted apparel exports. His expertise spans international market development and sustainable textile innovation. He is deeply committed to advancing circular economy practices between agriculture and textiles, and has successfully integrated 55 hectares of contracted farmland for agricultural waste recycling. Through close collaboration with farmers’ associations, he has also supported the development of Taiwan’s first automated fiber-extraction facility.
His current agricultural collaborations related to pineapple leaf fibre span the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, and Kenya. In parallel, he works closely with international research institutions and markets across Japan, the United States, and Europe. His work bridges agricultural transformation, low-carbon textile material development, local education, and global circular-economy exchange.
