Ms. Tsai has earned distinction during her 30-year career as a specialist in trade and investment development for both public and private organizations. Ms. Tsai has guided multinational clients through trade negotiations, provided business-to-business matchmaking services, market research, strategic planning, market entry, foreign direct investment, and utilized her extensive business and government network to conduct due diligence for foreign and domestic companies through the Greater China region.

【State of Minnesota, Taiwan Office】
As one of the overseas branch offices of the State of Minnesota, the Minnesota-Taiwan Office promotes and facilitates trade, investment and education between Taiwan and Minnesota.
Our primary missions are:
- Help MN exporters find, evaluate, and attain trade performance goals.
- Attract and advise Taiwanese companies investing in MN.
- Promote MN's education environment.
- Act as contact window and bridge between the Taiwanese and MN governments.

Internship Job Description

As the State of Minnesota 's office in Taiwan, we are chartered with increasing the State's exports to Taiwan (ex: help Minnesota's companies evaluate the export readiness, research new markets, locate qualified buyers, find funding...) and attracting Taiwan investors to the State.
This position will offer interns an opportunity to gain practical experience in international trade, enhance understanding of business in Taiwan, and expand social and professional networks.
Intern will assist with trade inquires, marketing researches, promotional activities, facilitate inbound-outbound delegations and update website content.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- undergraduate students (third year and above)
- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic international trade, marketing and management knowledge.
- Bilingual in English & Chinese preferred

Others

- Upon the completion of the NTU International Mentorship Program, students may continue as interns for an additional 3 months, at the discretion of the organisation.
