Dr. Jeffrey Chien-Chueh Tsai is the Head of Project Development at EDF Renewables Taiwan, where he leads the Government Relations & Public Relations Division and the Permit Division to support the company's offshore wind project development. With extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, Dr. Tsai has held executive roles in multiple international offshore wind developers, including Northland Power, WPD, and Skyborn Renewables, as well as wind farm project companies such as Hai Long Offshore Wind Project and Yunneng Wind Power. In these roles, he has successfully led cross-functional teams in achieving project development milestones.
Prior to joining the offshore wind sector in 2019, Dr. Tsai was a senior civil servant in Taiwan's Central Government for over 20 years. Most notably, he served as the Director of the Office of Energy and Carbon Reduction of the Executive Yuan, where he set policy goals and facilitated regulation amendments promoting renewable energy in Taiwan.
As a mentor, Dr. Tsai brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. He is committed to fostering the growth and development of the interns, providing guidance and support as they gain valuable experience in the renewable energy industry.

【Government Relations & Public Relations Division】
The Government Relations & Public Relations (GR/PR) Division at EDF Renewables Taiwan manages the company's relationships with external stakeholders, from central and local government agencies, education institutions, social & local communities, NGOs, to the public. The team develops and executes the GR/PR communication strategies, engages with stakeholders, manages community outreach programs, and coordinates media relations. The GR/PR division supports EDF Renewables Taiwan's Project Teams in securing necessary permits, managing regulatory compliance, promoting the projects’ local visibility and acceptability, while addressing public concerns. The division is committed to building strong relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and the public, and to delivering high-quality renewable energy projects that benefit the environment and the community.
