PERSONAL BIO

Arthur Lee has strong engineering background and has a deep, fundamental knowledge of IOT, Compute and Wireless, understanding the importance and complexity of IDM practices and environments. He has had the opportunity to build and run a certain big number, technically advanced engineering teams for these companies he is serving or served. Infineon identified his strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, motivate and inspire.

After working for more than 20 years in the US, he was assigned to lead the big team in Taiwan as the Head of Engineering of CSS division in the end of 2021.

Brief Introduction of the Department

【Connected Secure Systems Division】

Connected Secure Systems Division has very strong presence in Taiwan being one of the biggest R&D sites. Over 100 engineers specialized in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth based in Taipei and Hsinchu that are driving the developments of robust connections, reliable computing, and seamless security for a digitalized, decarbonized world. Enabling secured consumer and industrial IoT systems, as well as smart, trusted transactions.

Our products and solutions cover a broad application spectrum including consumer electronics, IoT devices, cloud security, IT equipment, home appliances, connected cars, credit and debit cards, future payments, electronic passports, ID cards, and more.

Internship Job Description

Considering Taiwan has completed and highly developed semiconductor industry and ecosystem, Infineon Technology being the leader in automotive chip market and believing in the rapid growth in EV cars, had decided to invest more in Taiwan.

With the support of Taiwanese government, CSS division is planning to work closely with Taiwanese partners includes OEMs, universities and research institutes to leverage the experiences in ICT and at the same time sharing the know-how in automotive industry in hoping to empower them and invite the partners into global supply chain once ready. The internship will include organising and following up meetings among different department and even sites worldwide; assisting project managers in tracking project status.

Preferred Intern Education Level

- Master students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

- Good communication skills (fluent in Mandarin will be a plus)
- Project management skill and has interest in the industry
- Engineering background is strongly preferred but fast learner with limited knowledge in engineering is also acceptable

Others

- Upon the completion of the NTU International Mentorship Program, students may continue as interns for an additional 1 year, at the discretion of the organization
