Ingrid spent the first half of her career in the private sector in sales and marketing, and the second half of her career at non-profit organizations in fundraising and global connection. She makes good use of her business marketing skills to raise funds for different causes, helping people with intellectual or physical disabilities, the elderly, released prisoners, the homeless, drug addicts, vulnerable children, and social entrepreneurs. Her passion for North European culture instills in her the value of service to others.
She currently serves as the bridge between Taiwan and the world in the Garden of Hope Foundation, coordinating various roles, such as NGO, private sector, government, and academia in related fields and working together to advance global gender equality.
While working for years to improve the well-being of people, Ingrid envisions a world that puts the planet first.

Building on the principles laid out in the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), The Garden of Hope (GOH) has spent over thirty years working at the grassroots level in Taiwan to achieve our mission of preventing violence against women. Through long-term engagement with international networks around this issue, taking part in knowledge exchange, and learning from international practices, GOH has shared the Taiwanese experience with organizations from all around the world, contributing to the shared knowledge around women's services.
Some examples of GOH’s work in this area include founding the Asian Network of Women's Shelters, working towards improving women’s shelters and ending human trafficking as well as supporting the empowerment of Asian girls.

Internship Job Description
Join GOH International Affairs team, you will be helping us develop and facilitate a platform for the global voices of women's rights as well as empowerment of girls in Asia!
The main responsibilities of our International Affairs Intern will be assisting with our current projects, proofreading and translating, formulating social media campaigns, or doing gender-related research. More than that, you will be considered an essential role in organizing and implementing our global gender justice related projects, such as Asia Girls Campaign, Global Network of Women’s Shelters, etc., by leveraging your skills in project management, global communication, theme research and translation.
Preferred Intern Education Level

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities
- Working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required
- Editing and translation skills
