During the past two years, the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (CCTCT) from organizing its renowned “Canada Day,” which is not only the largest event held by foreigners in Taiwan but also the largest “Canada Day” outside of Canada. The 15th annual “Canada Day” will be held at Taipei Yuanshan Park on June 26th from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan forecasts that this year’s edition will have more than 9,000 visitors.
Canada Day will be supported with a wide range of activities to attract people from all ages and backgrounds. The event will include the following:
A poutine eating competition.
A grand prize raffle where you can earn a round-trip flight to Canada.
Also, NTU International Mentorship Program member, Northland Power, will play a strategic role in the event by sponsoring an area where children can learn about the importance of green energy and conservation.
Since its creation, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, previously known as the Canadian Society, has always aimed to promote goodwill and understanding between Canadian and Taiwanese Society. Through the strategic partnership between CCCT and the NTU, we rest assured that this goal will continue to be fulfilled through our International Mentorship Program. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan will support our program by connecting us with its members and providing an internship opportunity in Marketing and Event Support under the supervision of CCCT’s Chairman, Steven Clark.
