Since its creation in 2010, GAIUS Automotives has strived to accelerate the transition toward sustainable transportation; this year, it has not been the exception. Gaius has recently partnered with the online retailer, Momo, in launching an electric three-wheeled vehicle to strengthen Momo's service quality while simultaneously improving its short-chain green logistics. At the beginning of this year, 經濟日報 reported that Momo’s green fleet would soon be deployed in the cities of Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.
From a logistics point of view, the introduction of the GAIUS electric tricycle has been a game-changer for the entire package delivery industry. Its design provides high operability and flexibility, saving drivers and customers a lot of time. Apart from its efficiency, its electric-powered system leaves no carbon footprint. NTU’s International Mentorship Program is keen on promoting the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) adopted by all United Nations Member States. For this reason, we are more than proud to have GAIUS Automotive as one of the key members of our program.
GAIUS will provide not one but three internship positions through our International Mentorship Program. Chief Technology Officer, Christian Jansen, will instruct our interns in the engineering department (mechanical and test engineer vacancies). In the marketing department, Sales Director Yen Chang will be providing her guidance for the marketing intern position.
