The NTU International Mentorship Program series of activities is about to kick off!
We are excited to announce our first career training workshop at the end of November, focusing on "Discovering Your Career Path." We will invite three speakers to share their academic and career journeys, exploring two distinct career exploration approaches: "Begin with the End in Mind" and "One Step at a Time." Join us as we delve into career planning topics to inspire students to find a path that suits their future.
Having journeyed across various countries and traversed multiple industries, Mr. Pascal LE RAY has transitioned from an engineer to a managerial role. He currently serves as the General Manager of Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services. After graduating from the Department of Economics at NTU, Mr. Rikash LIN, the Co-founder and CEO of Calls Over Ridges, embarked on his entrepreneurial path triggered by an earthquake. He delved into remote areas around the world, transforming the educational landscape and earning the prestigious NTU Social Devotion Special Award. Mr. Daniel SHIH, the Chief Strategy Officer at Turn Cloud Technology, holds dual degrees in Finance and Mathematics from NTU. After spending nearly a decade in a multinational financial group following his graduation, he has since become the CSO leading innovation and transformation in the digital cloud industry for the company.
The workshop will be divided into two segments: the first half will feature the speakers sharing their experiences, and the second half will involve thematic discussions and live Q&A, guiding participants in exploring different career exploration mindsets and crafting a personal brand through resume building.
