Turn Cloud has reached a significant milestone, clinching the esteemed "Gold Award" in the "Smart Governance & Management" category for their outstanding project, "NewTaiPAY," at the AFACT 2023 eASIA Awards. This achievement underscores Turn Cloud's steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation in the electronic commerce sector, highlighting its dedication to pushing the boundaries of technological advancements.

The AFACT eASIA Awards are designed to stimulate, promote, and enhance the capabilities of the e-commerce market within the AFACT community. The competition featured three main categories: smart governance and management, digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, and sustainability and circular economy. Teams from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and several other countries participated, submitting over seven proposals for consideration.

A special acknowledgment is extended to Jian Rong, a Malaysian NTU student who completed his internship at Turn Cloud through the NTU IMP and continued to make valuable contributions. Selected by Turn Cloud, Jian Rong contributed significantly, assisting in data preparation and presentation for the evaluation process. His dedication and expertise were instrumental in securing the Gold Award for the Smart Governance & Management Category, exemplifying the spirit of innovation and collaboration driving groundbreaking projects in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

Turn Cloud's ongoing partnership with NTU IMP remains a cornerstone of their success this year, with COO Daniel Shih as a mentor. Through this program, students have the unique opportunity to join Turn Cloud, benefitting from Daniel's guidance and actively exploring the intricacies of the e-commerce industry. This collaborative effort reinforces NTU and Turn Cloud's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering innovation within the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
