The recent interest in street culture, spurred by the addition of breakdancing to the 2024 Paris Olympics, has led the Department for Youth of the Taipei City Government to highlight Taiwan’s urban street culture through various talks and live events. The event will feature performances and discussions from some of Taiwan’s most exciting artists, including the acclaimed breakdancer group and Aserk Chu, one of Taiwan’s most prominent graffiti artists. Aserk will deliver a talk about his work and conduct a live art demonstration, allowing the audience to experience the fascination of graffiti.
