【Organization】The flying car is coming to Taiwan! Bellwether, UK, set up Ruijian Aviation Technology in Shalun, Tainan

07 March 2025

The Artificial Intelligence Technology Foundation (AIF) and the UK's newly-created Bellwether Industries recently hosted the forum on "AI launches low-altitude economy and leads the future travel revolution". The conference displayed the third-generation Bellwether flying car and announced that it would respond to the "Greater South New Silicon Valley Project". It is expected to establish a Taiwan subsidiary Ruijian Aerospace Technology (BAMS) in Shalun, Tainan, to deepen the industrial and technological development of Taiwan's low-altitude economy.

As a pioneer in the field of urban air traffic (UAM), the new British founder Bellwether has accumulated more than 12 international patents, covering AI autonomous navigation, low-noise propulsion systems and smart airspace management. It also displays forward-looking technology achievements applied to flying cars in the forum, as well as how AI and drone technology can be integrated to drive the industrialization process of the low-altitude economy.

Daniel Chen, co-founder and CEO of Bellwether, said that breakthroughs in flying vehicle technology are not only an engineering challenge, but also a key turning point in future urban transportation. At present, AI and low-altitude economic technology not only improve the safety and feasibility of flying vehicles, but will also explore more application possibilities in the Taiwan market to promote the integration and development of urban airspace management and drone technology.
