09 June 2025

The 2025 NTU International Mentorship Program, organized by the Office of International Affairs at National Taiwan University (NTU) held a ceremony recently ahead of students’ summer internships. Now in its fourth year, the program continues to expand its impact, matching 160 students from 25 countries with 80 partner institutions this year. Placements span the public sector, non-profit organizations, and private enterprises to give students invaluable opportunities to apply their academic training in real-world environments while exploring diverse career trajectories under the guidance of experienced mid- to senior-level mentors.

During the ceremony, Dr. Kuo-Hsin Yang, Associate Vice President for International Affairs, addressed the students with words of encouragement. He emphasized that entering the workforce signifies not only a personal milestone, but also a responsibility to uphold and represent the values and reputation of National Taiwan University. He encouraged participants to approach their internships with dedication and professionalism, and to engage fully and contribute their skills to have a meaningful impact in their workplaces.

As part of the ceremony, students were presented with customized business cards designed by the Office of International Affairs. These cards symbolize the transition from student life to professional engagement and mark the official commencement of their three-month internship journey. The university extends its heartfelt best wishes to all participants for a fruitful and transformative experience.
