AppWorks Accelerator #30 Demo Day: AI & Web3 Startups Lead the Way

18 June 2025

On June 17, 2025, AppWorks hosted its 30th Accelerator Demo Day—marking a major milestone: 15 years since the program first launched in 2010. From humble beginnings during a difficult era for Taiwan’s startup ecosystem, AppWorks has grown into one of Asia’s most influential founder networks. The accelerator was co-founded by Jamie Lin, a former founder turned investor, who launched AppWorks with the belief that entrepreneurship could be a key driver of economic renewal.

As of today, the AppWorks ecosystem includes 624 active startups and 2,029 founders, spanning seven major markets: Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and Hong Kong. These companies have collectively generated US$16.3 billion in annual revenue, raised US$6.6 billion in funding, and created 27,000 jobs.

This year’s Demo Day, a joint showcase with Wistron Accelerator #8 featured 24 startups from Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and beyond, highlighting how founders are using AI, blockchain, agentic infrastructure, and deep tech to tackle real-world problems and scale regionally from day one.

Notably, over 30% of the teams in this batch are led by serial entrepreneurs, reflecting the depth of founder experience in the community.

AppWorks continues to serve not only as a launchpad, but also as a long-term founder community, where alumni return to mentor, invest, and collaborate across generations.
