Last month, the NTU Office of International Affairs joined a special event at ARGO Yacht Club—Taiwan’s first and largest luxury yacht club—to celebrate the achievements of Cherish Sayogo, an international student from Indonesia majoring in Biotechnology and Food Nutrition, who is completing her summer internship there through the NTU International Mentorship Program (IMP).

The evening featured an Indonesian cultural and fine dining experience, celebrating both Cherish’s professional journey and her Indonesian heritage. Her mentor, Arthur Hu, Sales Vice General Manager of ARGO Yacht Club, and her manager Maggie Su, joined in recognising her contributions.

Reflecting on her experience, Cherish shared: “My internship was a journey filled with learning, challenges, and unforgettable experiences. I’m really grateful that I could meet everyone along the way and for making this summer such a great chapter in my life.”

Events like this demonstrate how the International Mentorship Program not only cultivates global talent, but also fosters meaningful cross-cultural exchange—bringing NTU, Taiwan, and the world closer together.
Since 2021, the IMP has connected over 400 NTU students from 40 countries with leading companies and organisations in Taiwan, offering invaluable opportunities to bridge academic learning with professional practice.
