GoodPoint Exchange founder and CEO Liu Wei-Ming visited the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at National Taiwan University (NTU), where he was warmly welcomed by Johnny Wu, Director of Global Relations, together with other colleagues from the OIA team. During the visit, both sides engaged in discussions on social impact, green action, and innovative practices, exploring how educational resources, corporate engagement, and entrepreneurial thinking can be combined to cultivate global sustainability talent. Through collaboration with the NTU International Mentorship Program (IMP), they aim to enable more students to participate in ESG- and technology-driven initiatives and gain practical experience.
Guided by the vision of making kindness an everyday transaction, GoodPoint Exchange has developed a subscription-based sustainability platform that connects businesses and individuals to actions such as tree planting, land preservation, and carbon reduction. By integrating ESG principles with blockchain technology, the company makes every act of goodwill traceable, measurable, and visible—an innovation that has earned international recognition, including the Microsoft for Startups Accelerator award. Its flagship project, THE GREEN BOOK, compiles impactful cases in environmental protection, education, and innovation to create a collaborative “Guide for Sustainability.” This initiative received the United Nations UNSDG SiAC Excellence Award, highlighting Taiwan’s growing influence in sustainable innovation.
The 5th year of the NTU International Mentorship Program will begin soon, with the OIA partnering with more companies and organizations to provide diverse internship opportunities. A series of workshops and enterprise visits are also planned to help students connect classroom learning with real-world experience. Stay tuned to the NTU IMP website and OIA social-media channels for the latest updates.
