Vice Principal Hisashi Hinata, along with teachers and over 90 students from Tsuchiura Daiichi High School in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, visited National Taiwan University and were warmly welcomed by NTU’s Office of International Affairs. During the visit, NTU staff provided a detailed introduction in Japanese about the university’s history, global impact, academic programs, and campus life, while the high school students listened with great interest.
The visiting students and teachers were then divided into small groups for a lively campus tour led by NTU staff, exploring different corners of the university and getting a firsthand glimpse into the daily life and vibrant learning environment of NTU students. Following the tour, they gathered for lunch on campus, enjoying Taiwan’s signature bubble milk tea and coconut jelly milk tea — a sweet taste of local culture that perfectly concluded their memorable visit to NTU.
