【Info Session】STUF: The First Organization to Partner Across NTU’s Three Major Global Talent Programs — Advancing Together Toward the International NGO Frontline

02 December 2025

Founded in New York in 2006 by Taiwanese entrepreneurs working around the world, the STUF United Fund holds Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and has long been dedicated to international education, youth development, and social innovation.

Starting this year, STUF has become the first institution to participate simultaneously in all three of NTU’s global talent development programs, creating even more comprehensive pathways for international engagement and global empowerment. Last week’s Info Session welcomed key members of the STUF leadership team—NTU alumnus and CEO John Lin, Deputy CEO Danny Chen, and Asia-Pacific Center Vice President Gary Hsieh—who shared their insights in person.

Deputy CEO Danny Chen delivered a dynamic presentation showcasing STUF’s diverse projects at the United Nations Headquarters and across its global offices. He warmly encouraged students to consider joining the programs to gain hands-on experience in New York, contributing to an international nonprofit organization that brings Taiwan to the global stage.

CEO John Lin also encouraged students through his own journey: in NGO work, progress often comes one step at a time, and there is no need to foresee every challenge in advance. Every step forward is a breakthrough in itself. During the session, STUF also highlighted its strong interest in marketing and public relations talent, hoping students will bring innovative thinking and fresh ideas that spotlight Taiwan and amplify STUF’s impact in global humanitarian and development efforts.
