2026 NTU International Mentorship Program | Internship Orientation & Career Development Workshop 

The successful completion of the 2026 NTU International Mentorship Program (IMP) Internship Orientation and final Career Development Workshop marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our students as they prepare to embark on their internship journeys. 

Now in its fifth year, the program has reached a new milestone, successfully matching 187 international students from 31 countries with 90 partner organizations. This year marks a record high in student participation, national diversity, and organizational partnerships, further strengthening the bridge between international talent and Taiwan’s industries while promoting talent retention and global engagement.

This year’s workshop featured three distinguished industry leaders:

  • Javier Magro|CEO, CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering Co., Ltd.
  • Laura Wang|President & CEO, Prudential Life Insurance Taiwan
  • Jerome Balucan|Director, New York State Trade and Investment Office Taiwan

Through sharing their professional journeys, industry insights, and practical experiences, the speakers offered valuable perspectives on workplace expectations, organizational culture, and effective communication in diverse professional environments. From cross-cultural communication and workplace interaction to building a strong professional presence, students gained practical knowledge and confidence as they prepare for their upcoming internships and future careers.
