Guam Taiwan Office (GTO) is the official Guam representative office in Taiwan. In the past, GTO was named “Guam Visitors Bureau Taiwan” and has been actively promoting Guam's tourism and Guam's business aspects. GTO is the representative of three Guam officials; Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA), the Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA), and Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB). In June 2021, GTO was officially been renamed as “Guam Taiwan Office”, and broadened the promotion of Guam in Taiwan. Their promotions are not limited to tourism, but also business, trade, cultural exchange, education, agriculture, and business investment.
Every year, Guam Taiwan Office attracts about 30,000 visitors from Taiwan and is the bridge of communication between Guam and Taiwan. In addition, GTO maintains a great relationship with its trade partners such as National Airlines, major cities in Taiwan through their participation in travel fairs in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung to gain more networks in the general public. GTO obtained a certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan and officially became one of the members of the American State Offices Association (ASOA).
