Coming from India, Arvind Singh Rathore visited Taiwan three years ago through the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) organized by the Ministry of Education, and participated in both 5th generation mobile networks (5G) and Internet of things (IoT) projects. During that time, he not only developed his passion for engineering, but also decided to pursue his master’s degree in Taiwan. Currently majoring in electronic engineering at NTU, he had an opportunity to intern in the world's leading semiconductor manufacturer – TSMC, via the NTU International Mentorship Program 2022. Mentored by the deputy director of design and tech platform - Jim Chang, he uncovered the mysterious veil of TSMC.

He joined the 3DIC Design Methodology department, taking part in the whole

meticulous design process of the 3DIC chips, from initial product testing to quality control, which made him cultivate a strong sense of discipline. After this 12-week internship, his excellent performance earned him a job offer to join TSMC before graduation.
