ARGO Yacht Club

Driving a speedboat in the ocean, with the breeze ruffling your hair, and watching a picturesque sunset, just like a movie, right? But for Claudio Sanchez, an NTU international student from Mexico, this is a daily occurrence! Claudio is a student in the Graduate School of Agricultural Economics and an intern this summer at ARGO Yacht Club through the NTU International Mentorship Program 2022. ARGO Yacht Club is a premier luxury yacht club in Taiwan, located in Tainan. During his internship, Claudio was mentored by ARGO's deputy general manager Arthur, and was able to learn deeply about luxury marine services.

Under the mentorship of Arthur, Claudio became familiar with many different types and classes of yachts, and also learned about the variety, drinks, meals, and other entertainment services ARGO provides to its customers. Outside of work, Arthur also brought Claudio to enjoy local food in Tainan, such as Dain Dain hamburgers and Tea & Magic Hand, which helped Claudio feel more at ease in Tainan and reluctant to leave his new home.
