Baker McKenzie

Baker McKenzie, an international law firm with offices worldwide, is committed to providing high-quality and diverse legal services to its clients. In the summer of 2024, Regina Dana, a student from Indonesia, participated in a two-month internship at Baker McKenzie through NTU’s International Mentorship Program. Under the guidance of Managing Partner Seraphim Ma, she applied her legal expertise to assist in tax case research, legal due diligence, and translating the complex EU AI Act into clear and accessible content, enabling corporate clients to easily grasp key legal points.

During her internship, Regina’s work reflected Baker McKenzie’s commitment to diverse legal services. She conducted legal precedent research on tax-related cases and accompanied Attorney Ma to client meetings, where she gained firsthand experience with employee performance management, workplace bullying, and birth rate control policies. These experiences deepened her understanding of how law influences corporate operations and social issues, while also honing her professional skills.

This internship significantly enhanced Regina’s research and analytical abilities, professional communication skills, and legal expertise, reaffirming her passion for the legal profession.
