PEGATRON

Matthieu from Haiti, studying computer science and engineering, Vincent from Indonesia, studying information management, and Nakarin from Thailand, studying electrical engineering joined PEGATRON, a global leader in DMS (Design, Manufacturing, and Service) for electronics, through the #NTUIMP. Guided by mentors Jason Yang, Director, and Eric Tsao, Senior Manager from the Core Technology R&D Center, these students embarked on a journey to explore career paths at the forefront of industrial innovation.

During their internship, the three interns underwent rigorous training and hands-on projects, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. Working closely with seasoned engineers, they developed automated debugging systems, leveraged AI to analyze system crash root causes, and honed their problem-solving skills through sprint-cycle projects. Their experience extended beyond the office, with field visits to PEGATRON's Taoyuan plant, where they saw AI and human expertise combine to drive efficient chip production and packaging. These immersive experiences have become invaluable highlights on their learning journey.
