Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services

Gautami Nadyaloka, a second-year Chemical Engineering student from Indonesia, and Khanh Vi Tran, a first-year Economics student from Vietnam, interned at Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services through the NTUIMP. Guided by General Manager Pascal Le Ray, they joined the Research and Development and Human Resources departments respectively, stepping beyond their comfort zones to gain valuable workplace experience.

In the R&D department, Gautami engaged in extensive training sessions and workshops, regularly attended management meetings, and gradually developed practical expertise. Starting with minimal knowledge, she learned to proficiently operate software, automate report generation, and independently solve unfamiliar challenges. Despite Khanh's Economics focus, her training at Bureau Veritas enabled her to contribute by co-designing new employee management programs, organizing family days, and planning flash events like the Qixi Festival. These experiences underscored the crucial role that HR plays in establishing an innovative corporate culture and a supportive work environment.

Mentorship proved pivotal during Gautami and Khanh's internship. Through interaction with Mr. Pascal, they grasped the leadership considerations in strategy formulation. They also witnessed firsthand how a "people-centric" corporate culture fosters unity. Throughout their internship, they not only refined their professional skills through practical projects but also absorbed leadership insights from their mentor, demonstrating their growth and capabilities through overcoming challenges.
