Application Matchmaking Internship Details Course Content Salaries and Benefits

・Are students eligible to apply for the program if they are going to graduate in the Spring Semester of 2026?

Yes, Students can still apply for the program if they are going to graduate in the Spring Semester of 2026.

※Please note that this program carries two academic credits, which will be granted only after the completion of the internship. Participants may be required to earn these credits before graduation.

・Can I apply for IMP again if I was accepted last year?

Yes, you can apply to the International Mentorship Program if you still hold student status at NTU.

・Is proficiency in Mandarin required for program application?

No, Mandarin is not a requirement for applying to the International Mentorship Program. However, it can be a plus for some companies. Our program is designed to provide students with an English-friendly environment in which they can thrive both professionally and personally.

・Is there an age limit to apply to the mentorship Program?

No, there is no age limit to apply for the program. You can apply for the International Mentorship Program if you still hold student status at NTU.

・Where can I download the document of the Department Recommendation Letter?

You can download the Department Recommendation Letter in the application system.

・Who do I request to fill out my Department Recommendation Letter?

Regardless of which degree student you are, each recommendation letter (All Degree Seeking Student’s recommendation letters) must be signed by two individuals. For undergraduate students, please ask both your mentor and department chairperson. For graduate and PhD students, please ask both your thesis advisor and institute director. If you have not yet been assigned a thesis advisor, then it is acceptable to have your institute director sign the form twice.

・ Can I bring the printed version of the signed Department Recommendation Letter to NTU OIA?

No. All materials for the application need to be uploaded online. Kindly double-check that you have everything scanned and uploaded before you submit the final application.

・Can I submit my academic transcript from this semester only?

No. Please upload the English version of your entire NTU academic transcript, beginning from your first semester until this current semester Spring 2026.

【Official Full English Transcript】 How can I apply for the Official English Transcript (- 2026 Spring Semester)?

Click the LINK to acquire the digital Official Full English Transcript OR ‍Apply for the printed version at the Office of Academic Affairs.

※ You must upload a Full Academic Transcript in English, which includes your latest course enrollment information and your grades up to date.(i.e.: If you are applying for the 2026 International Mentorship Program, your transcript should include your course enrollment information for the 2026 Spring Semester, with all prior grades.)

・How do I apply for the Certificate of Enrollment (2026 Spring Semester)?

You can apply for the Certificate of Enrollment online or in person after you pay the tuition fee for the 2026 Spring Semester.

【Online Application】(After February)

Log in myNTU website and click ePortfolio.
Click “Sign in” your ePortfolio.
Click “Certificate of Enrollment” on the side bar.
Enter your English name in the form provided and click “Print the Certifiacte of Enrollment” (Please enter your English name as shown on your student ID card).

【In-person Application】Apply at the Office of Academic Affairs.

・How many positions am I able to apply?

Students are required to select three to five positions. Please note that this is a requirement; applications will be considered incomplete if not followed.

・Do I need three to five different CVs and motivation letters for each organization application?

Students are NOT required to write three to five different CVs or motivation letters; however, you may do so if you wish to incorporate a message specific to each organization.

・Can I apply for a position unrelated to my major?

Yes! One of the main goals of the International Mentorship Program is to provide students with a wide range of internship placements across all sectors. If you fit the criteria for applying to a particular position, you are more than welcome to apply.

・Can I revise my position preferences after the application deadline?

No, in order to be fair to all the applicants, students are not allowed to revise their position preferences after the application deadline.
