Application Matchmaking Bidding Point System Internship Details Course Content Salaries and Benefits

・How can I apply for this program?

For all the students from GTA, please contact your office of International Affairs in your home university to request further infomation before you apply through our website.
What is GTA?

・What Visa should I apply for?

Resident Visa: If you do your exchange before the internship, then you will be able to apply for the Resident Visa.
Working Holiday Visa: If you do your exchange after the internship, kindly visit the provided link to see if you are eligible to apply for a Working Holiday Visa.
Visitor Visa: If you are not able to apply for a Working Holiday Visa or Resident Visa, please apply for a Visitor Visa (Note: Visitor Visa is not allowed to receive any payment from the organization.)

・Do I need to submit the Department Recommendation Letter?

For GTA students, you do not need this document.

・Is proficiency in Mandarin required for program application?

No, Mandarin is not a requirement for applying to the International Mentorship Program. However, it can be a plus for some companies. Our program is designed to provide students with an English-friendly environment in which they can thrive both professionally and personally.

・Is there an age limit to apply to the Mentorship Program?

No, there is no age limit to apply for the Mentorship Program.

・Can I submit my academic transcript from this semester only?

No, please upload the English version of your entire academic transcript from your home university, starting from your first semester through to the current semester (Fall 2025). Freshmen are not required to submit this.

・My home university does not provide an English version of my academic transcript, what should I do?

If your home university does not provide an English version of your academic transcripts, then you should provide a translated copy alongside the official transcripts provided by your institution.

・How many positions am I required to apply for?

Students are required to select three to five positions. Please note that this is a requirement; applications will be considered incomplete if not followed.

・Do I need three to five different CVs or motivational letters for each organization application?

Students are NOT required to write three to five different CVs or motivation letters; however, you may choose to do so if you wish to tailor your message to each organization.

・Can I apply for a position unrelated to my major?

Yes! One of the main goals of the International Mentorship Program is to provide students with a wide range of internship placements across all sectors. If you fit the criteria for applying to a particular position, you are more than welcome to apply.

・Can I revise my position preferences after the application deadline?

No, to be fair to all the applicants, students are not allowed to revise their position preferences after the application deadline.

・Do I have to pay to apply for this program?

No. GTA Students are not required to pay throughout the application process.
