Working hours for each intern can be very different, which is negotiable between students, mentors and organizations within reasonable limits. However, we request that you have to work at least 8 hours per week.
OIA will provide off-campus internship group insurance (Specified by the Ministry of Education) coverage for every student during the internship period. Please refer to the link for more information.

The answer to this question may vary depending on whether you work full-time or part-time. Please consult this with your mentor once selected for the program, as many companies might have different policies.
Some organizations operate outside of Taipei. In this case, either an all-remote or hybrid working set-up is negotiable before the internship officially starts. However, the final decision will still be left to the organizations' discretion.
It is stated whether or not accommodation is offered under each mentor’s page. However, if the internship site is not in the Greater Taipei Area, NTU OIA will provide students with a set allowance for accommodation, with accommodation recommended by the host organization.
The Greater Taipei Area includes Taipei and New Taipei City.
