Penny Chen leads the Global Community Support Network and International Resource Center at The Mustard Seed Mission. She designs and implements CSR programs with corporations and USR partnerships with universities, and plans, coordinates, and executes sustainable community service projects to ensure long-term impact and benefit. Through her leadership, she advances international cooperation, resource integration, and youth engagement to promote public service initiatives and expand the organization’s global influence.
Penny holds an MA in Human Relations from the University of Nottingham, UK, and has served as a lecturer in International Affairs at Taiwan University of Science and Technology. She is a former board member of Taiwan Aid and contributed to organizing the 2020 Micah Global Asia Regional Consultation. Her publications include journal articles, conference papers, and reports on social welfare, community development, and social impact, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and sustainable social change.

Internship Job Description
As an intern in the Division of Innovation and Cooperation, you will have the opportunity to assist with various aspects of NGO operations, including international fundraising, international cooperation, and event organization. During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in international cooperation projects and ESG-related campaigns. You will also learn how to create engaging social media content and connect with audiences through effective social media management. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team.
