Grace Wu is an innovative and strategic HR Leader with over 20-year experience working on HR Strategy, Organization Transformation, Talent Development, and Change Management. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology at National Taiwan University, Taiwan.

Loads of work experience in the HR field allows Grace to be strategically and commercially focused on her expertise. Grace is known for building a high HR team performance that delivers professional HR advice that drives organizational change from contribution to talent growth, business success, and social sustainability. With her great passion for talent development, Grace is currently leading the UNIQLO Taiwan and GU Taiwan HR and MIC (Management & Innovation Training Center) team.

You will start your career as a UNIQLO Management Candidate (UMC) by aiming to become the manager of a store as quickly as possible. From there, you will expand further afield to take on the challenge of running larger stores, or working in corporate or international positions as a global leader.

Internship Job Description

30% Management Training + 70% Store Operation Experiential Learning

What you can learn from Store Internship Program:

- Operation Management: Through participation in store meetings and review daily sales plan, gain insights into the sales operations and the essence of management.

- Retail Trends: From "store display" to "sales strategies", master the secrets behind the Top 60 best-selling products,

- Business Courses: Learning the know how of UNIQLO business model and management essence, deepening your understanding through course discussions.

- Career Dialogues: One-on-one meetings with regional managers and headquarters HR to clarify career planning and personal development goals in advance.

Program Design:

- Orientation Training: Gain a head start by understanding UNIQLO's business model and competitive advantages, enhancing your immediate capabilities through "real-world workplace experience"!

- Experiential Learning: Experience the actual work environment in a store, hear firsthand customer feedback, and observe and learn about the role, responsibilities, and duties of a store manager.

- Business Skills Training: Through discussions with business leaders and training seminars, focus on strengthening the thinking and abilities that business owners should possess.

- Career Exploration Discussions: Discuss with regional managers/HR to help with career exploration, advance planning, and connecting personal career development goals.

- Proposal Presentations: Integrate what you've learned during your internship and, from a business owner's perspective, propose ideas to optimize and improve the current state of the store.
