The intern will be in charge of assisting the director in developing and facilitating FDI, Trade, and events in Taiwan for the State. The intern will work on market research for various industries, contact senior-level executives for discussion on US Expansion, liaising senior US delegates, and promoting New York State in Taiwan.
Interns will be tasked with an all-encompassing workload that touches on business, finance, manufacturing, technology, education, and government. There will be a majority of time spent on on-the-ground work and research analysis to accommodate the various events my office is invited to attend or expo.
Interns will insert themselves into the public, government, and private sectors to garner a jack-of-all-trades mindset. The director will guide them on due processes, government regulation/policy, and local Taiwan industry philosophy.
Interns must be ready to take on tasks that are foreign to what they’ve learned in school and prepare themselves for a real dip into the real-world of how government and companies interact.
