New York State Taiwan Trade Office (Empire State Development)

The office serves as the primary representative office of the New York State Government in Taiwan. It facilitates all investment- and trade-related projects between the State of New York and Taiwan. As New York State’s principal office in Taiwan, it is responsible for promoting New York State and its respective companies, agencies, and departments, with the aim of fostering collaborations and partnerships in Taiwan.

Working closely with the Office of the Governor of New York State, state economic departments, and relevant Taiwanese government agencies, the office leads the facilitation of investment and trade initiatives ranging from SMEs to public corporations. It also works closely with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and TECO New York to coordinate and liaise with senior foreign delegations from the United States.
