Kyle Chen currently serves as the HR Manager at CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE), where he leads the HR department and oversees all personnel-related affairs across the company. His responsibilities include HR operations for staff, offshore crew, and subcontractor personnel, covering recruitment, compliance, training, and overall HR administration. With a professional background in maritime navigation and offshore operations, he brings a unique combination of hands-on industry experience and HR leadership to the renewable energy sector.

Before transitioning into HR, Kyle worked as a deck officer at Evergreen Marine and later obtained his Chief Officer license. He then continued his career onshore as a Marine Superintendent at IOVTEC, applying his maritime expertise to vessel operations and crew management. These frontline experiences provided in-depth insights into vessel operations, safety culture, crew coordination, and cross-cultural teamwork—perspectives that strongly shape his HR approach today.

During his four years at CDWE, Kyle has managed recruitment, performance evaluations, training programs, international talent coordination, and comprehensive HR administration for large-scale offshore wind projects. Passionate about talent development, he is committed to helping young professionals gain practical exposure to real-world HR practices in a fast-paced, project-driven engineering environment. Under his mentorship, HR interns can expect hands-on involvement in recruitment processes, daily HR operations, documentation management, stakeholder communication, and opportunities to work in an international setting.
