Ellen Yu is currently a Supervisor at the Taiwan Venture Capital Association (TVCA), where she leads cross-functional projects that connect investors, startups, corporates, and public-sector partners. With a background spanning industry associations, government programmes, and brand-side marketing, Ellen brings a practical, execution-oriented approach to partnership building and ecosystem development.
Ellen began her project career with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, supporting the Aesthetic Education Resource Integration Platform. During her tenure, she organised 40+ talks, large-scale press events, summer camps, and cross-domain collaborations, managing end-to-end planning, promotion, stakeholder coordination, and community communications. She later joined the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Taiwan (NASME), where she supported major national programmes such as the Presidential Hackathon and SME succession training initiatives—handling event operations, recruitment, communications materials, and multi-party coordination across government agencies and industry stakeholders.
On the corporate side, Ellen worked at KAWAI Taiwan (Tungho Musical Instruments) as a Digital Project Specialist, responsible for annual marketing planning, digital campaign management, and integrated communications. She delivered measurable outcomes, including strong growth in competition registrations and successful promotion for large public-facing events.
At TVCA, Ellen has led high-impact programmes including the Taiwan Venture Forum (TVF), innovation forums, investor-startup networking events, and “Chuang Chuang Shao” media initiatives such as a podcast series and sports networking events. Her strengths include strategic planning, stakeholder management, integrated communications, and delivering complex projects with clear timelines and measurable results.
